BIG Difference BC Scholarship

UBC’s Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioural Insights

We are proud to collaborate with BIG Difference BC to provide one $5,000 scholarship to working professionals who reside in BC, work in the public or non-profits sectors and are in the Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioral Insights.  Priority will given to applicants who identify as IBPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+ persons with disability, and/or women.

Financial Support

Funding available for professional development training includes:

BC Employer Training Grant

Our courses and programs are eligible for grant funding under the Workforce Training Stream, up to 60% of training costs up to a maximum of $5,000 per participant. Learn More

Pacific Leaders Scholarship for Public Servants

Financial support up to $5,000 is available to BC Government employees for professional development training.  Learn more

Canada Employer Training Grant

Non-taxable credits is available yearly for eligible workers between the ages of 25 and 64 for training to prepare for a new job or to keep skills up-to-date up to a lifetime maximum of $5,000.  These credits can be used to refund up to half the costs of taking a course or enrolling in training program.  Learn more

Student Loans

Our courses and programs are not eligible for BC or Canada Student Loans.

Tuition Tax Receipts

UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies courses and programs except for GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, CSM and PMP preparation courses qualify for non-refundable tax credits and education amounts.  If you are eligible for a T2202 Tuition and Education Certificate, you will be notified by email in late February with instructions on how to obtain your tax receipt.  Canada Revenue Agency requires your SIN to be included on the tuition tax receipt.  Please ensure your SIN has been added to your student profile.
