Bursary

UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies is pleased to offer up to $1250 in course-fee credit. Successful applicants can apply the course-fee credit to any Agile Leadership, Behavioural Insights, Business Analysis, Change Management, Data and Marketing Analytics and Project Management courses offered up to the end of December 2021.

Government Assistance

B.C Employer Training Grant

Up to $5,000 per participant is available each fiscal year under the Workforce Training Stream to support employee training. Sauder’s Continuing Business Studies programs support the development of management, business, and soft skills. Find out if you qualify

BC Pacific Leaders Scholarship for Public Servants

Up to $5,000 is available to BC government employees for professional development programs that align with the BC Public Service’s current and future needs.  Learn more

Canada Employer Training Grant

Up to $250 tax credits are available each year for eligible workers between the ages of 25 and 64 up to a lifetime maximum of $5,000 credits. The credits can be used to refund up to half the costs of taking a course or enrolling in training program. Learn more

Student Loans

UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies programs and courses are not eligible for B.C. or Canada Student Loans.

Scholarships

Alumni Professional Development Scholarships 

UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies is pleased to offer up to $1,400 in program-fee credit for UBC, Sauder or Continuing Business Studies Alumni to put towards their professional development with us. Successful applicants can apply the program-fee credit to either the Certificate in Project Management Bootcamp or the Associate Certificate in Change Management Bootcamp programs.

Athena Pathways Scholarship for Women

UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies is proud to collaborate with AInBC through the Athena Pathways Programs to award scholarships to support life long learning. Women currently living in BC and enrolled in the Change Management Fundamentals or Data and Marketing Analytics Fundamentals, Customer Analytics, Data Visualization and Storytelling and Marketing Intelligence and Performance Optimization courses may be eligible for a $500 scholarship from the Athena Pathways Programs, a project administered by AInBc.

PMI CWCC Scholarship

The PMI Canadian West Coast Chapter in partnership with UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies will be awarding two $1,000 scholarships ($1,000 from PMI CWCC and $1,000 from Sauder CBS) in course-fee credits to eligible PMI Global and CWCC members interested in Agile Leadership, Business Analysis, Change Management, Data and Marketing Analytics, Project Management Online and Project Management Bootcamp courses.

IIBA Vancouver Scholarship

The IIBA Vancouver Chapter in collaboration with UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies (UBC Sauder CBS) will award one $1,000 scholarships ($500 from the IIBA Vancouver and $500 from Sauder CBS) in course-fee credits to eligible IIBA members. Eligible courses include Agile LeadershipBusiness Analysis, and Data and Marketing Analytics.

BIG Difference BC Scholarship -  UBC’s Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioural Insights

UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies is proud to collaborate with BIG Difference BC (https://bigdifferencebc.ca/) to provide financial support for the development and growth of the local Behavioural Insights community of practice.

A $5,000  BIG Difference BC scholarship is awarded annually to one student in the Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioural Insights. Working professionals who reside in British Columbia and work in the public sector or non-profit sector are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to applicants who identify as IBPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, persons with disability, and/or women.
