This program equips you with key industry applied techniques and approaches to become a strategic data-driven marketing or business analytics professional to enhance profitability while responding to customers’ needs.  You will examine core data,  marketing analytics and customer preferences to make better business decisions and focus on best practices to visualize and communicate results to stakeholders. The program is unique in that it builds on your work experience while directly applying your learnings to your current organization’s challenges and your career needs. 

Taught by leading business and marketing professionals, this four-course program, delivered over 3 weeks each, through live online classes and group coaching sessions can be completed in approximately 6-months.

Curriculum

Strategically designed by a team of industry and academic experts, the program focuses on developing knowledge, skills and abilities in industry applied techniques and approaches for data and marketing analysis to drive better business outcomes. Students acquire skills to be an effective marketing or business analyst who are able to create a culture for data-driven decision making. 

Comprised of three required courses and one elective, the program is designed to provide students with a rich learning experience. Theory and practice are integrated through opportunities for teamwork, coaching sessions, discussion, case studies, applied projects and networking.

Elena Surcheva is the co-founder and Director, Digital Marketing and Analytics at Iridia Consulting. She is a seasoned digital strategist and analyst who has been working in the online space since 2003. She helps her clients effectively leverage digital media, communicate better with their current and potential customers, and be more efficient in converting advertising spend into tangible and measurable results. 

Prior to Iridia Consulting, Elena honed her skills managing all aspects of the digital analytics strategy at TELUS for eight years. She has also worked with B2C, B2B and not-for-profit organizations like Samsung, Knowledge Network, Central 1, ActiveState, Tourism BC, the Canadian Red Cross and the Calgary Zoo.

Tim Goudie has over 35 years of global strategic brand marketing as well as social, mobile, digital and search marketing in the CPG / FMCG space. He is an executive with a record of delivering branding / marketing strategy and implementation and has worked for Fortune 500 corporations from The Coca-Cola Company and Pillsbury to Johnson & Johnson in diverse multicultural markets. His experience includes building integrated multi-channel online, web based, mobile and search marketing strategies and campaigns. 

 

Tim is also very active in the field of aviation and is a certified flying instructor. He currently teaches flying to students in both Atlanta as well as Middle Georgia State College just South of Atlanta.
