Product management is a cross functional discipline that focuses on creating new market opportunities to build the best possible products for customers. Taking a product management approach enables organizations to conduct competitive analysis, set strategic goals and deliver product capabilities that customers need and want, before their competitors and their customers even know they need them. This course will provide an overview of modern product management tools, terminology and concepts, as well as identify key product management roles and responsibilities and how they collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. It will walk you through the product lifecycle from discovery and strategy to development and launch, and finally to iterate and grow. Taught by leading product management professionals, this course will also provide an introduction to product management techniques such as product road maps, AB Testing, experimentation, storyboarding, and prototyping.
