If you would like to withdraw from a course, please submit written notice at least three business days before the course begins to be eligible for a refund (less a $50 administration fee). No refund will be made for cancellations received later than three business days before the course begins. Some exceptions to this policy apply (see below).
UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies is sometimes forced to cancel courses due to insufficient enrolment or other reasons. If this occurs, a full refund is processed and sent to you automatically.
Certificate, Award of Achievement, Accelerated Diploma
Special withdrawal and cancellation policies apply to Continuing Business Studies full-time certificate and accelerated diploma programs as well as courses within these programs. Deposit fees are non-refundable.
The withdrawal deadline for summer institutes is seven business days prior to the start date. A $100 administration fee is deducted from each refund. No refunds will be given for written notices received less than seven business days prior to the start date.
Transferring from one course to another or changing from one course to another offering of the same course outside three business days of the course start date is considered a withdrawal and a new registration. The $50 administration fee for withdrawals will be charged for the transfer or change. There are no transfers within 3 business days of the start of the course.
