Gain a competitive edge and boost your resume with UBC DAP’s Sage 50 Workshop, providing you skills in accounting software often required to qualify for entry-level accounting positions.
Each 2-day hands-on workshop, facilitated by Sage50 instructor Megan MacLean, CPA, CMA will give you the skills and confidence required to navigate Sage 50 software. Learn how enter business transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivables, and payroll entries in Level 1, to more advanced functions such as setting up company data files, activating budgets, setting up accounts for bank reconciliations, and using advanced payroll features in Level 2.
- Level 1 - completion of an introductory financial accounting course, such as BUSI 293, COMM 293 or COMM 457 at UBC
- Level 2 - completion of Level 1 is a pre-requisite for Level 2, so in order to be eligible ensure you completed the UBC DAP Level 1 workshop in 2018 or 2019 prior to enrolling in Level 2.
A completion certificate will be given to students who successfully complete the workshop.

Face to face instruction in class at UBC Point Grey
Held over one weekend (Saturday and Sunday), 9 am to 4 pm each day (1-hour break for lunch)
