Two Routes to Success
There are two ways to build your project management skills with UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies. Choose the program that best corresponds to your lifestyle, educational needs, and aspirations.
Project Management with Specializations - Hybrid (In-class and online)
In addition, the essential knowledge and skills required for project management, this program provides students with the opportunity to concentrate their studies in one of three areas of specialization: Agile Leadership, Business Analysis, or Change Management. The core program is offered in-class at UBC Robson Square then depending on the specialization selected; courses may continue in class or be offered online.
Project Management - Online
Take control of your time and place of learning as you develop your project management skills and expertise. Through instruction, collaboration, discussions and team assignments, you will develop your understanding of key project management concepts and acquire tools and techniques that will serve to enhance your performance as project manager or leader.

Classes for the part-time core program are held at UBC Robson Square in downtown Vancouver.
The UBC Certificate in Project Management is available in two formats to suit the needs of different learners. Both versions develop a career-enhancing skill set using a combination of lectures, readings, interactive small-group work, discussions and team projects.

Created for those with full-time job responsibilities, the core program is delivered in a part-time classroom format over three months. You complete the core program as a group, and then select specialization courses.
Specializations: Agile Leadership, Business Analysis or Change Management. The curriculum consists of a core program of face-to-face sessions with assignment/team project work completed outside of class.
|Created for those who want a flexible learning environment, the curriculum is presented in six 100% online courses: Project Management Fundamentals; PM Toolkit: Project Initiation and Planning; PM Toolkit: Project Execution, Control and Closing; Essential Skills in the Project Environment; Teamwork in the Project Environment, and Applied Project Management. The online program includes individual and team assignments/projects.|

The total tuition fee for the core program is C$6,400 payable in two installments.
The total fee for the specialization ranges from $2,916 - $4,600 depending on the specialization and courses selected.
The total tuition fee for the 100% online program is C$8,250* ($1,250 - $2,000 for each course) plus a non-refundable administration fee of $200.
*Book fees are not included in the tuition fee.
Core program: a non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is due upon acceptance into the program, and the balance of $4,400 is due one week prior to the start of the core program.
Specialization: fees are paid on a course-by-course basis.
The $200 non-refundable administration fee is payable upon acceptance into the program.
All other course fees are paid on a course-by-course basis.
The curriculum is compatible with the project management industry standard set by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®.
